Geelong have signed fan favourite Daniel Menzel to a one-year contract extension.
Menzel, 24, has endured a horror run of four knee reconstructions during his career, with his plight striking a chord with Cats supporters.
He played his first AFL game since the 2011 qualifying final in round 22 this season and starred with four goals.
Menzel is joined by rookie-listed defender Cameron Delaney in signing a new one-year deal.
"Both Dan and Cam have been through their fair share of injuries and setbacks, but we are really pleased we can show our faith in them," football manager Steve Hocking said via a club statement.
"Both finished the year strongly and with a full pre-season we expect them to play the good footy they have shown they are capable of producing."
Cats premiership player Max Rooke will look for other opportunities after the club didn't renew his development coach contract.
